Relativity Fest 2022
Relativity Fest came back better than ever, and so did all 2,200 of you! This marked our first year gathering back in person in Chicago to explore the journey towards innovation in e-discovery. While you wait for the 2023 details and agenda, relive the best moments from Fest 2022.
The Best of Fest
A live audience? With a live speaker? On a real stage? It isn’t 2020 anymore and we were thrilled to host our Relativity Fest keynote in person. Our CEO Mike Gamson, Chief Product Officer Chris Brown, and a few special guests shared how we’re transforming e-discovery workflows and helping you solve today’s biggest challenges with AI.
The Judicial Panel
During one of our favorite Relativity Fest traditions, judges from state, federal, and overseas courts came together to discuss Confidentiality v. Transparency. They dished on topics from the leaked U.S. Supreme Court draft opinion in Dobbs to the preservation of the attorney-client privilege and work product doctrine.
The Relativity Innovation Awards
The Relativity Innovation Awards celebrate organizations and individuals in the community who build innovative solutions, break down barriers for technology in the practice of law, and take Relativity to the next level.
Ethical AI: A Masterclass by Dr. Timnit Gebru
A highly regarded voice on ethical AI and one of the most prominent researchers of algorithmic bias, Dr. Timnit Gebru has published groundbreaking research and spoken to packed audiences around the world. Until late 2020, Timnit was the co-leader of the ethical AI team at one of the world’s largest technology companies before she was famously fired over a paper that highlighted bias in AI. In her closing keynote at Relativity Fest 2022, Dr. Gebru deconstructed the issue and detrimental effects of algorithmic bias – and showed how we can collectively pave the road for ethical AI.
In-person Fest was a success and we have photos to prove it. Check out our highlights from the live event and hear about the Best of Fest 2022.
