Sasha Bigda

As a member of the Morningstar executive team since early 2017, Sasha leads all global corporate communications, media relations and public affairs. She is responsible for elevating the company’s profile and boosting its brand reputation. She has extensive experience developing impactful communications strategies targeted to drive business outcomes and increasing engagement and thought leadership among internal and external global audiences. She is known for working closely with all major media outlets worldwide and as well as navigating Wall Street on behalf of the organizations she supports.
Prior to joining Morningstar, Sasha worked at USG Corporation, where she served as chief of staff to the CEO. She led communications that helped transform the culture and reputation of the 100-year-old manufacturing company into the world’s leading provider of building products and solutions. She steered the company through many transformational moments including the acquisitions of several companies to build the innovation pipeline, the divestiture of their distribution channels, and the navigation of a highly publicized anti-trust litigation. She has also previously held senior corporate communications positions at several of Chicago’s largest corporations including Allstate, Navistar and Ace Hardware.
