Judge Waxse has served as a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the District Court of Kansas since 1999. Prior to his appointment, he was a partner at Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP. Judge Waxse has been a lecturer in law at the University of Kansas School of Law. He is an observer to the Sedona Conference working group on electronic document retention and policy, and the working group on international electronic information management, discovery, and disclosure.
