September 24, 2012 – Presenters have now been selected for the "Real-World Stories of Relativity" sessions. New to Relativity Fest this year, these sessions feature five separate rapid-fire, eight-minute presentations by seasoned professionals.

These presentations present review challenges from a variety of perspectives—attorney, litigation support, hosting provider—and illustrate how Relativity was used to creatively address those challenges. From selected managers of large technology providers talking about how they've used Relativity Assisted Review to help meet a client's deadline, to senior attorneys at large law firms discussing how they've used the technology to cut costs and speed up a review in an internal investigation, you'll have a number of opportunities to learn from one another in these sessions.

Access your registration page to add these sessions to your agenda.

June 14, 2012 – Based on attendee feedback, we've made a number of improvements to this year's Relativity Fest. For starters, we’ve made it easier to identify the sessions that are relevant to you. You can now build a schedule tailored to your role, experience level, or interest.

Besides session updates, changes to this year's event include the following:

  • Fest is bigger. We expect 500 attendees this year, which means more networking and learning opportunities.
  • You can bring as many people as you want. There is no restriction on the number of attendees from your organization, and Fest can be even more beneficial when groups of colleagues attend together.
  • More labs. We’ll have 110 workstations and 16 more lab sessions this year. We want to make sure you can roll up your sleeves and dig into the software.
  • Better breakouts. Most of this year’s breakout sessions are going to be led by a kCura subject matter expert with a structured agenda and prepared content, with plenty of room for discussion.
  • Fewer panels. We’re limiting our all-attendee panels to only two sessions. This will give you more time for breakouts and labs.
  • More downtime. With fewer all-attendee panels, more opportunities for labs, and more repeating sessions, you’ll be able to take time out during the day to check your BlackBerry and iPhone without worrying about missing critical content.

This year's agenda is focused on delivering tangible content covering Relativity best practices, new features, and creative ways to use Relativity. Topics include Relativity Assisted Review, Relativity as a platform, the Relativity Ecosystem, and Relativity's core functionality, among others.

Early-bird registration ends on July 8, 2012. Register today to save $200.

May 29, 2012 – While Relativity Fest offers panel discussions, hands-on labs, and educational breakout sessions throughout the day, the social events in the evenings allow Relativity users to share their experiences with the software and spend time with the kCura team. At Relativity Fest 2011, kCura’s founder and CEO, Andrew Sieja, took some time in the hotel bar one evening to demonstrate alternative interfaces for Relativity built completely on top of Relativity’s extensible API—his own “concept car” for the platform.

Check out the videos page of the Relativity Fest site to watch a video of the encounter, and see the type of spontaneous gatherings that occur throughout Fest.

Registration for this year’s Relativity Fest is now open. For the latest information about the conference, please follow @relativityfest on Twitter or subscribe to the Relativity Fest RSS feed.
